1. Information We Collect

When you create an account we collect your name and email address. Authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication — we do not store your password. As you use the Service we collect activity data such as tasks created, comments posted, and other actions performed within workspaces and projects you belong to.

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for advertising purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, operate, and improve the Service
• To send transactional emails (account activity, invitations, support replies)
• To respond to support requests submitted through the contact form
• To enforce our Terms of Service and protect against misuse

3. Data Storage and Processors

Your data is stored on Google Firebase (Firestore and Firebase Authentication) and Upstash Redis. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We follow Firebase and Google Cloud security best practices.

Transactional emails are delivered through Resend (resend.com). Resend processes your email address solely to deliver these messages; their privacy policy governs how that data is handled on their end.

If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment processing is handled by Razorpay. We do not store your card details — Razorpay's privacy policy governs how payment data is handled.

4. Cookies and Sessions

We use HttpOnly session cookies to keep you authenticated. These cookies are strictly necessary for the Service to function and are not used for tracking or advertising. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.

5. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at support@dharayana.com. Account deletion removes all personal data associated with your profile within 30 days.

6. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, notify users by email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before the change takes effect.

8. Grievance Officer

In accordance with the Information Technology Act 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (India), a Grievance Officer is designated to address any concerns regarding the processing of your personal data:

9. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023. Any disputes relating to this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
